INK at TCNJ

What is Ink?

Ink is the creative writing club at TCNJ. Our goal is to support the literary community at TCNJ through organizing weekly meetings and open-mic events in order to foster creativity in our student body. Our weekly meetings consist of writing games, workshops, and round-table discussions focused on improving one’s craft. We also host Coffeehouses for students to share their work in an open, welcoming atmosphere.

Every semester, Ink organizes the Student Reading Series, which invites a select group of student writers to share their work in a more formal setting. In the spring, Ink hosts the Visiting Writers Series, which invites professional writers to campus as a way to further enrich the literary community at TCNJ.

All meetings and events are open to all students, regardless of major or prior writing experience. Anyone interested in literature and storytelling is encouraged to join.

How do I join?

Just come to our meetings at 3:00 PM every Wednesday in the Bliss Lounge. We have a Discord server that you can join, along with an Instagram. If you need to contact us directly, you can send an email to ink@tcnj.edu.
