Tara Kennette, a 2018 graduate of TCNJ’s MA in English Program, has been offered admission with full funding via Teaching Assistant position to Temple University’s English PhD program. At Temple, Tara will continue her research in Ecofeminist Literary Criticism and teach first-year English courses to the University’s freshmen. She hopes to write her dissertation on contemporary queer literature in the agricultural communities of the American Northeast. “My coursework at TCNJ gave me an incredible foundation on which to build my academic career, and the forward-thinking faculty opened my mind to the importance of crafting unique methods of literary critique,” Kennette said. “The Master’s program at TCNJ allowed me to refine my literary interests, and ignited my passion for Ecocriticism and Ecofeminism.”
