Emma Rarich, a 2018 graduate of TCNJ’s 5-Year MA in English Program, has accepted a position at the University of Rochester. She will be working as the Tutoring Program Manager for the institution’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. “After completing my graduate assistantship at the [TCNJ] Tutoring Center, I was inspired to pursue a career in higher education academic support,” Rarich said. “I am grateful for the incredible mentorship I received from TCNJ faculty and staff and look forward to helping my students achieve their academic and professional goals. Some of what I will be doing [at the University of Rochester] includes hiring peer tutors, designing and teaching a tutor training course, conducting research and assessments of tutoring services and student progress, and serving as an academic support resource for students.”
